Three Enemies

Scripture informs us that we face three unique enemies which seek to defeat the spiritual life of believers: the world, the flesh, and the devil. Each of these enemies has a unique role to play in their warfare against believers. If we desire to live a life of victory through the Lord Jesus Christ, it is vital that we know how each of these enemies seeks to turn us away from the Truth. It is important for us to be able to discern what kind of temptation, or testing, we face from each enemy.

Taking Our Thoughts Captive

As believers, it is imperative that we understand the importance of taking our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. The world, the flesh, and the kingdom of darkness would want to dominate the tenor of our thinking in order to manipulate our thought life. Taking our thoughts captive is part of responsible spiritual warfare.
