Adonai Resources was founded in Denver, Colorado, on June 24, 1985, as a result of a call and purpose as stated in
Acts 26:16-18,
‘But arise, and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; delivering you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.‘
Statement of Faith
- We believe in the absolute and verbal inspiration of the inerrant and infallible Scripture, both Old and New Testaments; a perfect and final authority.
- We believe in the essential deity, eternal existence, virgin birth, sinless life, physical resurrection from the dead and literal physical return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the only true and living God eternal, infinite, unchangeable, existing in three persons.
- We believe in the creation of mankind, out of dust of the earth, by God in His own image and likeness, which results in man being both material and immaterial consisting of spirit, soul, and body.
- We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity, who is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing believers into the body of Christ, indwelling, infilling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.
- We believe in the existence and activity of a host of spiritual beings both good (angels) and evil (demons); the latter being led by Satan.
- We believe in the fall of all mankind in Adam and the universal depravity of the human race resulting in the guilty and lost condition of all men everywhere outside of Christ.
- We believe in the absolute necessity of salvation by grace through personal faith in the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ.
